OnePlus Open might be the first foldable of the brand
According to the earlier reports, the tech company has already trademarked two name options, OnePlus V Fold and V Flip, with the China National Intellectual Property Administration for its expected devices. However, the latest leaks show that OnePlus might change its decision about the names.
The latest rumors are coming from a reliable OnePlus tipster, Max Jumbor. He claims that the first OnePlus foldable will be named OnePlus Open. Max says, “OnePlus is taking a different approach on the name for its very first foldable smartphone! Let me introduce it to you: OnePlus Open.”
The reason for this change might be Google Pixel Fold. The Chinese phone manufacturer may offer a simple and different name for its first foldable device. Also, the phone is expected to come with significant specifications.
Depending on the earlier leaks, we can assume that the OnePlus Open will feature triple rear cameras, including a periscope camera and Hasselblad tuning. Also, the renders show a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button. Moreover, we can say that the upcoming foldable phone will likely have the similar look to other OnePlus models. Additionally, the leaked images show the punch-hole camera, which is located on the top left-side of the display.
